When we set out to build ESRCOMMERCE, our goal was to build a game-changing product that brings serious value to our customers. Accomplishing this took large investments in time, money, and hard work, but our customers are worth it. This is our loyalty program. We want to reward our customers with an electric motor buying experience like no other and requiring an account is how we ensure that happens.
Not only will you be able to see your pricing, see inventory by warehouse, and place online orders, but many additional features will be activated. Highlights include the Cross Reference, Product Compare, and Quick Order features. Detailed specifications, data packages, manuals, and brochures will also become active. The ease with which you can shop every top motor manufacturer making selections by availability, features, and price is truly impressive.
If you are already a customer, the process is easy. Simply go to the Login Page and choose your registration option. Upon submitting your name and email address, you will receive an email containing a link to the registration page. Once the registration form has been completed, a member of our team will review the details, confirm pricing and Ship-To's are set up correctly, and activate your ESRCOMMERCE account.
If you are not a customer, you will follow the same steps as above, however, we will also assess your company, making sure you are a qualified commercial or industrial customer. Depending on industry and location, an account manager may be assigned. Finally, we will request an account setup/credit application form be submitted as we will not grant access to the site for one-time buyers.
ESRCOMMERCE accounts are free to ESR's End User and OEM/Packager customers. Resellers require a paid Premium Membership in order to access.
We believe ESRCOMMERCE especially brings great value to other distributors. It is an awesome tool that instantly makes users an expert on every top electric motor manufacturer. It allows faster response time with more options and WILL lead to higher sales. We know. We use it ourselves.
We also know that resellers will buy from ESR, but also from the manufacturers they are direct with. We are fine with that... for a price. Hence, the Premium Membership.
Every manufacturing plant or branch location has a unique Customer ID in our system. We can assign any combination of those Customer ID's to a user's web account, and the location to shop for can be set on the My Accounts Page.
Pricing may be negotiable depending on a number of factors including contract status, purchase volume, and brand preference. Discounts may be given for greater quantities, projects, and large, high dollar motors. Pricing discussions should be had with your sales representative, although one-time discounts can be requested using the Request Quote Form.

We ship from our six distribution centers and over 100 manufacturer partner warehouses located throughout the United States.
Yes. When checking out, you may select Will Call in the Delivery Information section. Be sure to include which warehouse and any other applicable information, such as timing, in the Special Instructions field.
No. We do not ship to PO Boxes.
For small package shipments, we use UPS or FedEx. For larger items we choose from the top LTL carriers in each market (for example: AAA Cooper, Estes, FedEx Freight, R & L, SAIA, YRC Freight, etc.). For items (usually) over 4,500 lbs., we use a network of couriers to ship by flatbed.
Once your order is placed, an ESR team member will review the order and select the best shipping point (if shipping Bestway). They will finish processing the order at which point an Order Acknowledgement will be sent. The Order Acknowledgement will include an estimated ship date for each line.
Orders that are in stock and shipping from an ESR warehouse ship same day if received by 2:00pm. In-stock items shipping from manufacturer warehouses typically ship next day. Production item lead times will vary.
When an order has shipped, you will receive an email notification. This email will provide the carrier and tracking number. If a link is included, clicking on it will bring you to the carrier's website. If no link is provided, you can manually go to the carrier's website and plug in the tracking number.
Alternatively, the My Account page on this website contains a Track My Order section where the Sales Order Number or Purchase Order Number may be used to retrieve shipped orders and view carrier and tracking number information.
Shipping costs vary for each item depending on the shipping point and destination, size, weight, and delivery type. For orders shipping PPD & ADD Bestway, our shipping department will choose the carrier based on the weight and size of the item, then by lowest transit time, and finally by lowest price. The shipping cost will be included on the invoice.
If you need to know the freight cost before or at time of order, you have several options:
1. Call us and we will provide a freight estimate usually while you are still on the line.
2. In advance of placing an order, use the Request Quote Form with a note to include freight.
3. Include a note in the Special Instructions field during the checkout process asking to confirm freight cost before processing.
These shipping methods are available through ESRCommerce:
- Best Way: ESR selects carrier and ships Prepaid and Add.
- Collect: Customer chooses carrier and provides account to bill.
- Will Call: Customer picks up from warehouse.
- 3rd Party: Customer provides instructions for ESR to contact 3rd Party who arranges freight.
We accept checks, ACH payments, Wire Transfers, and all major credit cards.
We offer Net 30 payment terms to all United States customers pending a credit check. International customers must pay T/T 100% In Advance.
Please call us if an order needs to be cancelled. In-Stock items can be cancelled without penalty if caught before shipping. Cancelling production items generally will incur cancellation fees, and the longer into the process the higher the fees up to 100%.
Stock items can be exchanged within 30 days of receipt (assuming the item remains in new condition). ESR will waive restocking fees if possible. Production items and items where power has been applied may not be exchanged.
Stock items may be returned within 30 days if still in new condition. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Additional fees such as re-boxing may also apply. Production items and items where power has been applied may not be returned.

We stock a wide range of electric motors and drives totaling tens of thousands of units and ranging from fractional to thousands of horsepower, both low and medium voltage. We also stock accessories such as flanges, shaft grounding rings, motor bases, shields, and motor controls.
If the part number is known, enter it in the search bar at the top of the page. If it is in our system the item should be at the top of the search results.
If searching by specification, there are two ways to search:
Search Bar
Try entering up to three keywords in the search bar at the top of the page. For example: "25HP 1800 460". This will return a list of 25 horsepower 1800RPM 460 volt items. Next filter by category on the left hand side of the page to narrow the list further. For example, check the boxes for General Purpose - 3Ph TEFC/NV Foot Mount and Severe Duty - Foot Mount. This will narrow the search results substantially. Finally, use the specification filters at the left to further narrow the search results to exactly what you want.
Category Search
From the All Categories drop down menu, choose the main category to search in, for example: Motors, General Purpose, 3 Phase. Next, choose a sub-category to further narrow your search, for example: General Purpose - 3Ph TEFC/NV Foot Mount. Finally, use the specification filters at the top and/or to the left of the search results to narrow the results to exactly what you want.
Use the Cross Reference link located under each item's image to quickly see a list of direct replacements. To see a broader list of similar items, for example, from different categories, use the search bar at the top of the page to enter up to three keywords. Then use the filters at the left of the Search Results to narrow your search to a list of similar items. This technique will offer more options, but with more room for error.
